I have worked as an Executive Recruiter for more than 20 years.
This has enabled me to meet and recruit some excellent and interesting individuals into some key and challenging roles with my clients. I have always found one of the key roles of a successful recruiter at whatever level is the ability to listen and understand, to both what the client wants and what the applicant is looking for and can deliver and do.
I have been retained to work with many organisations to recruit directors and senior line managers, companies dealt with typically have annual turnover ranging from £300m to more than £3billion. My work has included search and selection for directors together with recruitment for management teams on major projects both UK and overseas. The most prestigious being the PADS scheme in Hong Kong, Chek Lap Kok airport which was an £11 billion contract where I was retained by the BCJ joint venture to recruit 10’s of professionals for the senior technical team.
My work these days consists of me taking on executive search assignments for a small number of carefully chosen clients. My philosophy of working with just a small number of clients means I am truly able to offer a focused and truly bespoke, consultative service. I greatly value the relationships I have with my clients, many of whom have given me a wealth of retained and repeat business in the Executive search arena.
