I love the work I do, coaching and song writing, in fact, I could not ask for more…
With don’t break 345, I have the opportunity to help people achieve their potential and find their version of happiness.
I feel lifted as my senses are awakened to sights, smells, sounds and feelings. Nature to me, really is the best medicine.
I was lucky enough to grow up in a small village surrounded by countryside. In fact, my playground were fields, woodlands and rivers. Today, I am still lucky enough to live in a rural location and remain massively in touch with and appreciate the natural world that surrounds me. As well as my corporate coaching work with don’t break 345, I also love my work as a Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Therapy) Guide, taking people back to nature to help them with issues such as stress, anxiety, mental health and watching as they find the ability to relax, open their senses and to immerse themselves in the beautiful, natural world around them.
I work with nature; I also practice it and am inspired by it. Walking through woodland and meadow re-awakens my senses to fully appreciate what is around me, the shape of the leaves, the smell of the earth, the sound of the wind rustling through the trees. Beautiful vistas wait around every corner, ever changing with the seasons. When song writing, I am often at my most creative when sitting on a riverbank or babbling stream, or in a meadow filled with wildflowers and grasses.
Nature gives so much, and we must make sure we give back, so with this in mind I made a conscious decision and decided that with every assignment I take on I would contribute to the sustainability of the natural earth and re-wilding by donating to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. They help bees by planting flowers, re wilding and creating natural habitats which allow these important creatures to survive and flourish, who in turn help by pollinating plants, crops and trees.
